daqINSIGHT is a low-cost software package for Windows which allows plotting, monitoring, control and logging of data from data acquisition devices (DAQ) such as microcontrollers and other devices.
daqINSIGHT accepts (and sends) ASCII data via the serial/USB COM port for monitoring and control. Data can be standardized formats for the software or parsed from non-standard strings.
While there are numerous installed interfaces (HMIs) to choose from, they can be modified to your needs or start one from scratch with rapid design through click-and-place controls, setting properties easily and writing code for events such as button clicks with contextual help.
